Description

PA 66 (polyamide 66) commonly known as Nylon, obtained by the polymerization of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid, is a semi-crystalline technical thermoplastic material.
Its main qualities are stiffness and high mechanical stability, characteristics that are maintained at elevated temperatures while offering excellent heat resistance. These characteristics allow its use even in the harshest conditions, such as in hot/humid environments. PA profiles can drastically reduce the transmittance value (Uf value), insulating the flow of energy from the outside of the facade to the inside.
