Alfa ASA (ASA)
Description
ASA (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate) is obtained by introduction of an elastomeric acrylic ester during co-polymerization between styrene and acrylonitrile. It exhibits general characteristics similar to ABS, but better properties of weathering in general (depending on grades, up to 10 times higher than ABS under certain conditions), high impact and shock resistance, a high hardness and stiffness. Coextrusion with flexible materials is also possible for ASA.
