Alfa TECH (PVC-U)

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is one of the world’s most widely consumed and highly versatile plastics. The properties of this amorphous thermoplastic material are highly variable depending on the additives used. Characteristics of PVC include good self-extinguishing properties, durability, good weather resistance (color and stiffness preservation, and impact resistance), and excellent dimensional stability. PVC is considered stable and safe in room temperature applications. It turns out to be very sensitive to light and heat; these have a degradative effect on it that manifests itself first with yellowing and at high temperatures (>180°C) with decomposition from which hydrochloric acid is released.
The product ALFATECH is the rigid version of PVC (U – unplasticized).
