- seawater, salt solutions
- strong mineral bases and their solutions, dilute acids
- glycols and brake fluids derived from them
- alcohols, ketones and other oxygenated solvents
- ozone and atmospheric agents
Satisfactory with:
- strong mineral acids and their solutions
- vegetable or animal oils and fats
- phosphate ester-based hydraulic fluid
Completely unsatisfactory in the presence of:
- mineral oils and fats (except with formulations based on ultra-high molecular weight EPDM-OE oil-extended terpolymer)
- aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons
- silicone ester-based hydraulic fluids
- non-polar liquids in general
PECULIARITY
Absolute resistance to oxidation, weathering, ultraviolet radiation, ozone, even at high temperatures.
